New Programs at the Carls Family YMCA!
PRE-SCHOOL FLAG FOOTBALL -

Introduce children to the basic skills and concepts of the sport. Practice and learn for two weeks followed by five weeks of scheduled games. If fewer children are enrolled, small group play will continue. The focus is FUN!! Each child receives a team t-shirt.

SAND VOLLEYBALL –

Learn the basics of sand volleyball in a fun and relaxed environment. Two weeks of practice followed by five fun filled weeks of games.

TENNIS –

Coach Bill McDaniel brings many years of successful coaching experience and his love of the game of tennis to the Carls Family YMCA. Whether you are a novice with no knowledge or a seasoned competitor, try one of our clinics!

GOLF –

This golf league combines instruction with competitive play in a positive atmosphere that is fun! Participants will discuss etiquette, skill, technique and tournament! One session of classroom instruction takes place at Carls YMCA, all play is at Dunham Hills Golf Course. Instruction and play is directed by former golf pro, Chuck Stevens. Teach your child a game they can play for life!

LIFEGUARD WANNA BEES –

Teach your young adults aged 12-14 the basics of life guarding in a fun and positive environment. This is a non-certification course designed to learn basic safety and lifeguard skills including how to spot potentially dangerous activity in pool and waterfront settings. Practical skill instruction and practice using lifeguard equipment will take place throughout the course.
