Bowling 4 Strong Kids

Saturday, February 20 (6pm)
3 games of bowling, shoe rental, 50/50, and entry into a raffle with the possibility to win YMCA gear, program coupons, a Splash Park membership, or a 3 month membership to the Downriver Family YMCA. All proceeds benefit the Downriver Family YMCA’s Strong Kids Campaign.

COST: $15.00 per bowler

The Downriver Family YMCA Strong Kids Campaign raises funds that allow us to provide scholarships and subsidy for our neighbors who otherwise could not afford to be a member of the YMCA or participate in YMCA programs. All the funds that are raised are used for Downriver Families at the Downriver Family YMCA.

Party Rentals

You choose a great Party Package, along with the date and time and leave the rest of the planning to us!

All parties include the following: 2 hours of party activity, an hour for food, cake, and presents. The birthday child gets a t-shirt and a "special toy" from our treasure chest. Each particpant gets a goody bag, pizza/hot dog and pop, 12 invitations. Each party comes with it's own party host.

Party Packages:

• Climb and Slime: An hour of climbing on our Rock Wall, an hour of making several different slimes
• Splish Splash: 2 hours of swimming with the slide and all toys turned on
• Rock-in Swim: An hour of swimming, and and hour of Rock Wall climbing
• Picasso Goes Swimming: An hour of swimming and then an hour of "craft" ...paint, slime, or seasonal craft.

School Age Child Care

The Downriver Family YMCA offers before and after- care to the following Wyandotte elementary schools 5 days a week:

• Monroe
• Washington
• Garfield
• Taft
• Jefferson
• Hoover
• Paun
• Good Shepherd

Our mission is to work in partnership with Wyandotte Public Schools and Downriver families offering an affordable child care program that provides a safe, secure, comfortable and encouraging environment that promotes self-esteem and respect for others.

We accept state of Michigan FIA payments and those who may not qualify for FIA we have our Strong Kids Scholarships available as well.

Downriver YMCA Splash Park (Closed for the Winter)

The Splash Park at Downriver YMCA is a full-facility outdoor water park built for fun and poolside lounging. The pool space is over 10,000 square feet, includes a giant water slide and other pool toys, in addition to an outdoor lap swim area and zero depth entry. Besides swimming for all ages, there is a poolside cafe, deck chairs and umbrellas for relaxing and enjoying a fun day in the sun.

Pool safety is our highest priority. Our award-winning lifeguards protect swimmers and ensure you have a fun, safe experience at the pool.
