32nd Annual Golf Outing

Monday, September 20, 2010
Our golf outing will be held at the Grosse Ile Golf & Country Club with all of the proceeds to benefit the Downriver Family YMCA Strong Kids Campaign. The Strong Kids Campaign provides financial support to families and individuals in our community so that they may access the YMCA programs they need.

We will also be honoring Fred Karn who is the Recipient of the Strong Community Award.

Party Rentals

You choose a great Party Package, along with the date and time and leave the rest of the planning to us!

All parties include two hours of fun activities; one hour for food, cake, and gifts; a personal party host; a t-shirt and gift for the birthday child; invitations; goodie bags; and a slice of pizza and pop for each participant.

Party Packages:

• Splish Splash: A swim party for the whole two hours. Enjoy the fun of the winding waterslide and gushing fountains.
• Picasso Goes Swimming: Spend an hour playing in the gushing fountains and going down the winding water slide. Then let’s bring out the little Picasso in your little ones while they spend the next hour experimenting with different materials to create their own special masterpiece. Choice of a paint party, slime party, or craft party.
• Gym & Art: Spend the first hour playing in our spacious Gymnasium (activities customized to fit your party’s interest). Then swim for an hour, enjoying yourself on the winding water slide and relaxing in the fountains in our spacious indoor pool.
• Gym & Swim: Spend the first hour playing in our spacious Gymnasium (activities customized to fit your party’s interest). Then let your creativity soar as you experiment with different materials to create your own little masterpiece. Choice of paint party, slime party or craft party.

School Age Child Care

The Downriver Family YMCA offers before and after- care to the following Wyandotte elementary schools 5 days a week:

• Monroe
• Washington
• Garfield
• Taft
• Jefferson
• Hoover
• Paun
• Good Shepherd

Our mission is to work in partnership with Wyandotte Public Schools and Downriver families offering an affordable child care program that provides a safe, secure, comfortable and encouraging environment that promotes self-esteem and respect for others.

We accept state of Michigan FIA payments and those who may not qualify for FIA we have our Strong Kids Scholarships available as well.
