The Livonia Family YMCA is looking for a customer service representative who can provide excellent customer service relations through membership/program registration and answering phones. Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment. Previous customer service experience is preferred. Starting rate of pay $7.40.

Head Swim Team Coach

Head coach for boys and girls in the YMCA competitive swimming program. The head coach is responsible for all aspects of directing the team’s practices and its participation in meets and will supervise assistant coaches if swim team numbers require them. The team will have about 25 swimmers. Practices will be held Monday – Thursday evenings from 4:45pm – 7:30 pm beginning in September. League and Invitational meets will be held on select Saturdays and Sundays from October – February. Championship meets will be scheduled March - April.

Swim Instructor

The Livonia Family YMCA is looking for swim instructors for ages 6 months – adult. Previous experience teaching swim lessons preferred but not required, we will help you obtain the training that you need. Classes run in the mornings and evenings Mondays – Thursdays and Saturday mornings.

Lifeguard

The Livonia Family YMCA is looking for lifeguards that are available from 5:15am – 10:30pm on various days. Must be rescue ready at all times and able to provide outstanding customer service skills. Monthly Sunday in-services and random skills testing mandatory.

Livonia Gymnastics Instructor

Under the supervision of the Head Gymnastics Instructor, the Gymnastics Instructor is responsible for directly teaching Gymnastics classes.

Must have a minimum of two years gymnastics experience as either a gymnastics instructor or as a gymnast. Must have an understanding of the YMCA Progressive Gymnastics Program. Must possess good communication skills and the ability to make decisions.
