Gymnastic Instructor

Under the supervision of the Head Gymnastics Instructor, the Gymnastics Instructor is responsible for directly teaching Gymnastics classes. Must have a minimum of two years gymnastics experience as either a gymnastics instructor or as a gymnast. Must have an understanding of the YMCA Progressive Gymnastics Program. Must possess good communication skills and the ability to make decisions.

Opening Lifeguard

The Livonia Family YMCA is looking for a lifeguard over the age of 18 that is available from 5:15am – 9:15am Monday – Thursday (days vary). This guard is responsible for opening the pool, ensuring that all aquatic safety standards are met before opening, and during pool operation. This position will begin mid-August and continue through the year.

Lifeguard

The Livonia Family YMCA is looking for lifeguards over the age of 16. We are looking for daytime and evening guards. The lifeguard is responsible for swimmer safety, and enforcing all aquatic safety standards while on duty as well as monitoring pool chemistry. This position will begin mid-August and continue through the year.

Water Fitness Instructor

Looking for a YMCA Water Fitness Group Exercise Instructor that will be able to instruct aqua aerobics and other adult water fitness classes with proper exercise technique, principles and procedures. Specific class times that we are looking to have covered are Saturdays from 8:15 am – 9:00 am, Wednesdays from 8:15 pm – 9:00 pm, Mondays & Wednesdays from 2:30pm – 3:15pm. You do not need to be able to cover all of the times.
