PreSchool at the YMCA 2009-2010

September 14, 2009 through June 4, 2010
Our preschool programs offer well rounded educational activities geared toward building creativity, self-esteem, cooperation, and independence.

Classes focus on engaging activities and hands-on exploration driven at the students' pace. Classes are available for the following ages:

Pee-Wee Preschoolers

Age: 18-30 Months
Days: Only Monday/Wednesday
Times: 10-11:30 AM
Facility Member $125 month
Program Member $185 month

Terrific Twos and Threes

Age: 30 months-3 years
Days: Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday
Times: 9:00-11:45am
Facility Member $125
Program Member $185

Fantastic Fours and Fives

Age: 4 and 5 years
Days: Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday
Times: 9:00-11:45am
Facility Member $125 month
Program Member $185 month

Preschool Fun Friday (in addition to Fantastic 4’s and 5’s)

Age: 4-5 year olds
Day: Friday
Times: 9:00-11:45am
Facility Member $65

North Oakland Waves (NOW) Swim Team

We are a family-friendly team based out of the North Oakland Family YMCA offering competitive swimming for all age groups. Instruction, technique, yardage, a positive work ethic, team building, and loads of fun is the NOW experience.

NOW is a dual affiliated team, swimming both YMCA and USA meets.

NOW offers a year round swim program. Our Short Course season runs September 8th through March. We encourage swimmers to attend as many practices as possible, and offer multiple practice sessions realizing families have other activities and obligations. We encourage participation in meets and offer both local and travel meet opportunities. Whether a developing or highly competitive, seasoned swimmer, we have a place for you.
