The Y is a starting point for many youth to learn about becoming and staying active so they can develop healthy habits they'll carry with them throughout their lives. And the benefits are far greater than just physical health. Whether it's gaining the confidence that comes from learning a new skill or creating positive relationships that lead to good sportsmanship and teamwork, participating in sports at the Y is about building the whole child, from inside out.
Participants work with staff to develop gross and fine motor skills, while learning sports fundamentals.

YVC is a way for young people to help others, have some fun and learn something while doing it. You'll learn about your community, job opportunities and yourself by participating in exciting, challenging and worthwhile service projects.
We know kids are pretty busy these days, so the amount of time you spend as a Youth Volunteer is all up to you. We work on projects year-round. You can join us for as many of them as you'd like.
All YVC projects involve a team of young people. You can select the type of volunteer service you'd like to do and dates that work for you!
