Camp Nissokone

YMCA Camp Nissokone is located on 170 acres of spectacular lakefront in Oscoda, Michigan. Campers stay in comfortable, newly renovated cabins with modern bathrooms. The camp has a wide variety of age appropriate activities and programs to suit any camper’s interest, as we take full advantage of the lake and 1,000 acres of national forest that surround our camp. Nissokone is perfect for getting out in nature to adventure and play.

Mornings are spent in camper-selected skill clinics including climbing, sailing, canoeing, sports, drama, creative arts, and many more. The afternoons are spent participating in cabin activities such as horseback riding, high ropes, low ropes and free swim. Campers will also enjoy climbing at Boulder Junction, our climbing wall and bouldering grotto.

A variety of camp options are available at Nissokone, including Residence Camp, Specialty Adventure Camps, Day Camp, Family Camp and excellent student Leadership in Training programs.

Camp Ohiyesa

This perfect location on Fish Lake will make campers feel a hundred miles away from the daily grind, yet is centrally located in Holly only an hour north of the Detroit Metro area. Camp Ohiyesa’s 300 acres of fun is nestled in farm country on the shores of Fish Lake, among the fields and woods conveniently situated between Oakland, Genesee and Livingston counties. Established in 1918, the historical feel of the dining hall, cabins and buildings blend well with the new 100-foot water slide, climbing tower, zip line, giant swing and equestrian area.

Ohiyesa offers a full range of camp options, including Day Camp, Overnight Camp, Specialty Camps such as CSI camp as well as Family Camp and a student leadership training program.
